RE: Why we should learn to listen
Nothing annoys me more than when you are having a conversation with someone about what you consider important happening in your life for them to cut you off because something you said reminds them of this one time when...
It just spells out to me that they weren't listening to one word I said . It's so rude.
Its always very polite show interest through nodding or even smiling when another is in conversation with you. You just never know how much they needed to 'just talk to someone'. ッ
p.s. IMHO, I Think this is quality work and deserves more than what it has made. Sorry my voting power isn't much value.
Thank you! I'm a very big listener. So when you're talking I'm constantly reading between the lines, asking deeper questions. I love the art of conversation!
You're right too, most people just need someone to talk to nowadays. You'll make a lot of friends by just being an open ear to people that need it! :)
For sure! In a crowd I much prefer to be the listener :)
We have the right platform here! So much selection !
Definitely - soooo much selection :)
So many directions to take, so many avenues. It has to be great for our cognitive function as well.

I've often wondered if lots of mental stimulation helps prevent dementia :)
