Such an inspiring adventure. Imagined a lot of this journey through your story.. Back where I live in India, we have a river close by and we often kayak there. That is itself is a surreal experience, but only lasts a few hours. But this is something else..

I'm glad you have a special place near by that you can go to as well. It sounds like a great spot even though it's not quite the same. Those surreal experiences are always something special.
