A MILLENNIALS more than ever.

in #life7 years ago

Wow, every passing day is a new challenge.

Why do I feel a millennials more than ever? Well, every day my life depends more on social networks and technology, previously if you wanted to become independent, just had to get a good job, work a few months and ready, but now NO. now getting a job is not at all profitable. In my country, Venezuela, the young people who earn the most money are those who are working on different platforms to generate income, such as Humanatic .... Why, or do not ask me, why I do not have a clear answer, what I know, is that the economic problem is one of the factors that have forced us to seek different sources of work than in the 1990s, when dad and mom

Who is to blame for all this? Of our parents and their bad decisions, it is not that we are their bad decision, no, but that they began to build this lifestyle that we now carry the born in the end of the 90s and early 200s, how, because they fell into the trap of the current rulers of the world, they chose the present presidents, senators and stop counting, who have made the world a shit.
And some assholes will say ... "Typical" who blames others, because Stupid is the one who believes that those actions have no consequences.

The generation of the Baby Boom, the generation X, the silent generation ... all have had their moment, but now it is the generation of the millennium, that is to say the generation of all the young people who in the year 2000 have reached the adult life. And these are the characteristics that make them unique, are the ones that pose the new challenges for the banking sector.

We totally depend on Technology.

Internet, mobile, social media ... are natural tools for us young people in our day to day: buying, doing transactions, sharing products and services. It is a way of life that becomes more global. According to Accenture, 94% of young millennials are online banking users and, furthermore, seven out of 10 millennial Americans use mobile banking services, according to federal reserve data.
We are the most discontented of all past generations, we are more distrustful, we are the least believers in religions and politics The difficulties to find a job and to become independent have fomented this character of disbelief.

Although we are the generation with the highest educational level of the past generations, we are the most unemployed, the crisis affects us directly. Causing huge losses.

Counting my own experience, I feel a millennials more than ever as I said at the beginning of my post, practically my life is surrounded by social media, the internet and online jobs are my only option.

In a report of Merca 24, I got this report, which I found very interesting, as described by our current economic reality.

4 KEY POINTS OF THE MILLENNIAL ECONOMIC FUTURE
By Jazmin Garibay - 09-18-2017

Deloitte predicted that in 2025, Millennials will account for 75 percent of the world's workforce. We know that it is a key generation today and in the future.

However, in some respects such as economic, this generation does not seem to be aware of what it should consider now, as shown by the following key data in the economic future of Millennials, dictated by specialists.

  1. The economic part happens to the second term, after that its main concern points to the climatic change. According to the annual Global Shapers survey, published by the World Economic Forum, he said that one in every two young people surveyed chose the climate option as the most pressing problem facing the world.
  2. The platform for choosing, analyzing and contracting an online mortgage loan, Credimejora, revealed that currently only 50 percent of young Mexicans between 25 and 30 years of age may aspire to have a mortgage loan from the bank, the rest is not fit to qualify.
  3. As a third point, it is clear that they do not really think about retirement, because they will postpone it until the age of 65, according to Manpower Group, its president for Latin American, Monica Flores, revealed to the media that they dream of retiring with 65 according to 36 percent of the young people considered.
  4. Finally, according to the company NerdWallets, the generation has a firm opinion on the acquisition of real estate, since 28 percent of it, regrets not having saved enough before buying their own home.
This is how the generation must contemplate these points and analyze how much it is worth to postpone a retirement plan.

They all draw forecasts of our future, they all say that our failure is eminent, and that we will not have a liquidation when we reach a mature age, just like our grandparents, but what if it is true is that we have changed the world, see things, I believe and I am sure that we will also change that economic policy.
I am a Millennials and I feel Proud.
Here I leave other publications.

Woff, woff!

Hello @adamsmats, We have met 2 times already!

I'm a guide dog living in KR community. I can see that you want to contribute to KR community and communicate with other Korean Steemians. I really appreciate it and I'd be more than happy to help.

KR tag is used mainly by Koreans, but we give warm welcome to anyone who wish to use it. I'm here to give you some advice so that your post can be viewed by many more Koreans. I'm a guide dog after all and that's what I do!

Tips:

  • If you're not comfortable to write in Korean, I highly recommend you write your post in English rather than using Google Translate.
Unfortunately, Google Translate is terrible at translating English into Korean. You may think you wrote in perfect Korean, but what KR Steemians read is gibberish. Sorry, even Koreans can't understand your post written in Google-Translated Korean.
  • So, here's what might happen afterward. Your Google-Translated post might be mistaken as a spam so that whales could downvote your post. Yikes! I hope that wouldn't happen to you.
  • If your post is not relevant to Korea, not even vaguely, but you still use KR tag, Whales could think it as a spam and downvote your post. Double yikes!
  • If your post is somebody else's work(that is, plagiarism), then you'll definitely get downvotes.
  • If you keep abusing tags, you may be considered as a spammer. It may result to put you into the blacklist. Oops!

I sincerely hope that you enjoy Steemit without getting downvotes. Because Steemit is a wonderful place. See? Korean Steemians are kind enough to raise a guide dog(that's me) to help you!

Woff, woff! 🐶

Loads of information. Many thanks. Love it. @adamsmats Followed
