I just spent three hours of my life writing a post and when I posted it, it all disappeared!

I always do a draft on word. This came after an experience similar to yours. Once bitten twice shy. It's a bummer though.

Always prepare a text in the editor, where you can save it @acwood. It seems that you have learned that rule the harder way :(

I really haven't found a text editor that I liked except maybe textpad.

In the DOS days, you could remove wonderful, quick and flexible SemWare editor from me only with a crowbar, @acwood ;) Today, Notepad++ is doing the job :)
