Sometimes, despite what most people think, the 'good times' we have aren't the biggie events and heavily planned functions... Those might be too stressful and have too much expectations riding on it. The good times can be simple shopping trips with my niece, or a normal dinner with my nephew, even at a McD's... It's usually the company you have and the times you share :) I'm glad for your 'good feelings' evening with your children!
I definitely agree. It's often the little things and unexpected moments that have the biggest impact on us. Kids, of course, add a lot of unpredictability too:)
