I was looking at something like this light but decided against it when I was buying lights for the renovation I'm doing. I was worried how long the cable will stand wear and tear.
It needs a strong support for such a heavy light otherwise ..... Booom!!!!
I'm worry that over the years, the changing of the bulb and cleaning will add stress to the cable and wear it down to a point when bad thing happen.
At least, nothing really serious for you. Thank goodness.
