I hope you don't give up no matter what happens. There is definitely work going on right now to back up written content and I know you have your art stored somewhere. So it won't be gone, but yeah starting again from 0 SP or whatever could be tough.
Someone will be keen to keep something like this going, the value could tank for a while, so as long as there is other revenue coming in, it can be survived. Maybe another break will be in order soon (keep one eye on Steem at least).
