Half-Full or Half-Empty? Test How We See a Thing
A common expression half full and half empty are used to identify one's personality. Through the object of a glass, we are asked to say "it is a half full, or it is a half empty" This idiom directs us to choice and we definitely say it in different way. Ones will say "half full" and other ones will say "a half empty." These direct answers have their own perspective and formulatation the way of thinking and personality that someone has. Everyone has a personality that tends to alter the way of thought and perceptions, pessimists and optimists or realists.
Well! half full and half empty can be adopted to measure those capacities. It will influence the perception of seeing a thing and determine one's point of view. The psychology experts or even we can use this matter to tests someone's point of view and to what perception of this expression may take. People who proclaim half full will be then identified as optimist or the one's who see the contain rather than the empty matter. Their perception is full of hope and optimize their vision to welcome the future.
In other hands, the optimists are always looking for the bright side. They wake up from fall and stand strong for any bad situation that occurs. and they believe that there is silver lining behind the black cloud. It is just the way how the optimists take a chance to fix the problem with ranging experience of emotions, good and bad, positive and negative. While pessimist can be easily effected by situation and obstacles. They always see thing in negative way, and tend to run from a problem, they often fail to do the type of things that could minimize their potential of solving troubles.
We may agree or not, but the scientist who have studied these personalities throughout the perception of people who see the glass as half-full or half-empty. They concluded with the result that people who see half-full is happier, healthier, and even wealthier. Then, we ask to ourselves how can a matter determine the personalities? It is sound weird, isn't? and we may not totally agree to the way to measure someone's personalities through this object. Some researchers now believe that your genes might play a critical role in determining whether you focus on the positive or the negative. In fact, recent studies have shown that there is a genetic component to whether one tends to be an optimist or a pessimist. Now your turn to test your friend, get them how they see this matter.

Is the glass half-full or half-empty

the glass is always completely full... half what you put in it, the other half with air, lol. Perspective is a complex concept to understand , when we are presented with two options we chose one of them thinking they are the only two options.
When these kinds of studies are put forward it is easy to believe that the factors we are testing are what creates the outcome, ie cause and effect, however , the faults in many studies is the unknown variables. More to the point it is not the variables themselves but how we interpret the data once we have collected it.
The truth is that no one is a pessimist or optimist all the time, we fluctuate depending on many variables. Both these factors have a purpose in life, we utilize both so it creates a balance...
in regards to the genetic aspect , this is the argument of nature vs nurture and again the commonly adopted understanding is that it is neither one or the other but a blend of both.

Saleum, Bang @abduhawab.. :)
Gambarnya sangat menipu bang, saya tahu gelas ini sebenarnya kosong setelah abang minum semuanya :D
haha...jelas, sebelum dihabisin ambil poto dulu
Thanks
Selamat malam bang @abduhawab. Selamat beristirahat bang. Semoga sehat selalu.
hehe...terima kasih midi
sama-sama bang @abduhawab😊
Selamat beristirahat bang @abduhawab
whether it is genes or not alone, i think it's worth my time to continually choosing to be a positive/optimistic person! though life can sometimes get us down, as you said the optimist is healthier and happier. worth it to me do hack my own brain and feedback loops to "look on the bright side" :)
I try to be a 'half full' kind of person, but some days it does seem 'half empty' ;)
