I remember, like, back in third or fourth grade. I think it was third. Some kid kept scratching their head and the nurse came in to check for lice, and, boom lice. Then we all got our heads checked and it was epic. That's my only experience with lice.
Nits were all the rage over here, even had combs! I remember one girl was forever tainted for having nits once, shamed! I once had to use her bike helmet during cycling proficiency training, which was a gamble, I'll tell you!
