“When people say 'let's do something about it', they mean 'let's get hold of the political machinery so that we can do something to somebody else.' And that somebody is invariably you.”
― Frank Chodorov
When I say, let's do something about it, I mean let's stop talking and thinking about it and let's put it into action.
For sure many political parties and private agendas want to push your energy into their apparently universally altruistic aims but I choose not to be so cynical.
However, I understand when this level of cynicism comes to light because well, I've been around the traps long enough to know that roses are not always red.
Really great. I am agreed with this quote and like your post.
