I always have at least one knife on me. Where I live, it's not uncommon to see people carrying hunting knives in sheaths on their belts. Knives are one of the oldest tools known to mankind, and they remain useful for many purposes today. Arbitrary restrictions on blade length, opening mechanisms, etc. serve only to turn innocent people into "criminals" through legislative fiat.
