Right. This is just the "But the warlords would take over" argument against liberty. And, as you pointed out, they always do under government anyway-- and then make it "illegal" to defend ourselves and our property from them. I can do without that.
From the current scenario the bad guys trying to be government is my main thought besides the mediator aspect. Only reason is some people need to be told what to do.
