Misdirection by anti-liberty bigotssteemCreated with Sketch.

It doesn't matter if "gun control" [sic] actually prevents murder. That's the wrong question, because no one has the right to forbid others from owning and carrying guns. That "right" can't exist and can't be created.

This bothers a lot of anti-liberty bigots. So they keep focusing on the wrong question-- and I suspect lying about the data in order to get others to come to agree with their conclusions. But, either way, it really doesn't matter.

Remember the anti liberty set will always lose in America, they are Bull Conner or Kim Davis. They are essentially science deniers and any data they present is always bullshit propaganda.

Why do you say that gun-ownership is a right? Accorded by who? I'm not sure its a right per sae, or, no more than clean water at least. Unless its the government that accords rights, then we have different understandings.

Gun ownership is a right because (like everything which is a right) the right to forbid it can't exist. Because it can't exist, no one can have the right (or the "authority") to ban guns. Rights aren't "accorded" by anyone- it's just that they exist because no one has the right to violate you by trying to stop you from exercising them.
You have the absolute human right to own and carry a gun, but no one has an obligation to give you a gun to carry. That's the nature of rights. Government has nothing to do with it, and only violates rights anyway.

Fundamentally I think I agree, though one thought I struggle to resolve. If I have a right to create nuclear power on my farm, does the guy down stream have a right to water without my nuclear waste? What stops my neighbour from making my world toxic?

I have never really found an answer to this.

Your nuclear waste violates your neighbor's property rights- you are damaging his property without his permission just as you would be if you trespassed and vandalized. Your right to have nuclear power on your farm ends at your property lines. If you can't keep it contained to your property, then you are violating the rights of others.

Strangely, the belief in government only makes things worse. People (through "corporations") can get permission to do things which violate the property rights of others, or if they are found to have violated others, the government will have them pay some amount which isn't even close to the amount of restitution they owe, and will call it "good enough".

Yes the veil of the corporation. If I have seven shareholders than its not clear than anyone is liable. Might be five in the US, I forget.

I like that comparison to trespass, for me I think that works.

According to my opinion, the cowards are fighting with weapons and the wise men are fighting with their intelligence

Wise men are competent with weapons because otherwise their intelligence can be silenced by the armed cowards. That's unfortunate, but reality, and has happened time and again throughout history.

It's not an "either/or" situation. The wise armed man may never need to fight with his weapon, but it is foolish to refuse to use the best tool ever created for defense; the use of which also gives the defender the best chance of coming out of a fight (which he didn't choose) unharmed.

If you aren't willing to defend yourself from armed cowards, then I question how much you really value your life. And the lives of those who depend on you. Responsible people go armed, even though the armed cowards of government may prohibit it.

Keeping guns is dangerous on the owners and the civilians. .. 🚫❌❎✖

So you'd rather have just the cops with guns then? Or no one with guns? (Your statism is showing).

For the good of civilians. .the cops have job to do ...but we see that every house have at least 3 guns!! No statism no guns lets live in peace ✌✌
Actually i don't know wither you see that currying guns is a self protection or you agree with what i said. ..at anyway i respect your perspective dear friend 😊

Cops won't protect you. It's not even their job. They are paid to keep you from annoying the government. If you don't believe me, try to hold a cop accountable if you are harmed by crime or by government action which he failed to prevent or stop. Your defense is YOUR responsibility, and you can't give that responsibility to anyone else no matter how much you wish you could. You may as well try to let someone else reproduce for you, learn on your behalf, or eat to nourish your body. It can't be done.

Now I get your point of view and you gave me a new perspective ,, however we can't deny that holding guns can be dangerous for us and for others .. but in the other hand (as you said) no one will protect you if you didn't

Driving a car is more dangerous than holding a gun. I don't want people who don't know how to handle a gun safely to hold one- I want to teach that person how to safely hold a gun so that they are not a danger to themselves or others. Knowledge is what it takes, whether you are talking about guns, cars, electricity, bodies of water, or any other potentially dangerous thing.

Totally agree dear friend

Yup @dullhawk everything has two sides a good side and a bad side see if we look only at bad side such as in the case of gun ie it can be used for murder it is not at all right to do that.... You have really made a good article!!

In my opinion owning or carrying guns it's not good think because in some case you will use it in wrong way

Then don't own or carry a gun.

You might use your computer in the "wrong way", too, and words have killed a lot more people than guns have. Should you be forced to give up your computer too, just because of the potential for misuse? I don't believe so. But to be consistent, you must give up your computer.

Yes i agree with you
