Thank you @falkvinge, another article which made me think; one thing I was pondering as I was reading, was; doesn't space play a massive part in how effective a policy like this could work?

In countries such as your own, whereby you have a high, Sq KM/per person ratio, it may work better than in a country say like Japan, which has most of it's population living on 3% of its landmass.

I'd love to know your thoughts.
