Who is Ron Bishop?

The 2017 Alabama Special Senate Race has the media buzzing.

Traditionally this race would be a slam dunk for any republican as the area is easily expected to vote for a values based conservative candidate.

But with allegations of Roy Moore's sexual misconduct with minors gaining more credibility, Democrat candidate Doug Jones' chances of taking the senate seat seem almost like a sure thing.

If only the constitution didn't limit us to only two parties...

Enter Ron Bishop

Although Alabama law makes it particularly difficult to get a third party candidate onto the ballot, you can't rule out the write-in box, and Ron Bishop is giving Alabamians the chance to use it.

Libertarian Ron Bishop is making the rounds in Alabama talking about why the Libertarian party actually represents much of the values people thought they were getting with Republicans.

Lower taxes, less government spending, less foreign intervention, less government involvement in the free market economy, and more civil liberties are some of the libertarian values Ron Bishop represents. They're also values shared by many of the Alabama voters.

Ron hopes to boost his campaign by hiring a skywriter during the Alabama - Auburn game on the 25th of November to write "Who is Ron Bishop?" above the stadium.

The question is reminiscent of the question "Who is John Galt" from the book/movie Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. The story made a statement about the dangers of government interference in free market industry, and is an important part of many libertarian collections.
