Usually I find that leftist have a poor understanding of economics in general. It is disheartening that otherwise well meaning people blame “Free Market Capitalism” for the failures of cronyism, or consumerism. Really economics education should be taught all the way through school, but the powers that should not be wouldn’t want peons that have any semblance of critical thinking would they?
