Is there/Isn't there global warming arguments aside. Trigger warning to the tree hugging druid types.

Climate change? Let’s avoid the ‘perfect planet premise’; that nature gave us a planet perfectly suitable to human life, and all we do is plunder and pollute it. That is so far from the truth. The earth’s weather is harsh and dangerous on a regular basis. If anything we have improved our climate, not the alleged .03 to .04 percent carbon emissions, but our climates in where we live. Thank goodness for fossil fuels which have allowed us, as a species to escape the harshness of the earth’s climate. We use the fuels power to live in heated and air conditioned homes, meanwhile it could be blazing hot or freezing cold outside. People die in extreme temperatures, not because we have ruined the atmosphere, but because weather is naturally harsh, and has been for thousands of years.

No other fuel source has been so cheap and efficient as fossil fuels. Not to mention all the other products we can make from them (tires, toothpaste, antiseptics, shaving cream, paint, etc.). If you care about human life, consider the benefits of fossil fuels over the past few hundred years. Will you take the tires off your car or turn your thermostat off tonight in protest? I think not.

Celebrate your improved indoor climate. The outdoor climate was not that desirable to being with.
