There are 2 system of transaction at Margin Exchanges
The First is Long (Buying) as example, if you long (EUR/USD) at price 1.13600 and the price up until 1.13750 you get profit 150pips and the amount of profit is based on how much lot did you have but if the price go down to 1.13450 after you made a long position you lose 150 pips
The Second is Short (Selling) as example, if you short (USD/CAD) at price 1.12700 and the price down until 1.12100 you get profit 600 pips and if the price going to up you get losses
Another Different from Margin Exchanges is the margin exchanges always have Leverage system with this leverage you can buy stock/coin or currency even your money is not enough to buy it
As example you have funds 5$ and want to buy EOS that have price 500$ and you try to use 100x leverage, so its like you have 500$ and after that you can buy 1 EOS coin but these system have pros and cons if the price up 1% to 505$ and you take a long position you get 100% floating profit and your money will become 10$ if you closed your position at these price and if the price down to the 495$ your long position automatically get liquidated/margin call (you lose all your margin) even you didn’t close it manually so leverage system is high risk and high return, the more leverage that you use the more risk and the more return that you will get.
