WW2-correspondence between my grandparents and Allied soldiers.(Recently found letters)

My grandparents owned a pub during WW2 in Antwerp, Belgium.

As the story goes, during the war and occupation they housed shotdown pilots in the basement, while on the first floor German soldiers were having their freetime.

During the final stages of the war, Canadian and English soldiers, who were liberating Antwerp and later pushed on into Germany, frequented and lodged at my grandparents.

My grandfather befriended some soldiers and a correspondence grew between them and my grandparents.  In the letters, all final stages war, they mention their loved ones, friendship, the hardship, the liberation, V-day.

But they also mention gifts they send to my grandfather, like stockings and sigarets, my grandmother is also often mentoned as she was a goodlooking woman with a kind heart.  Some letters which i posted here tell us about a soldier who is actively looking for concentrationcamps, you can also read about their feelings for the Nazi's.  Ofcourse these letters were all censored.

I started some research, as it might be interesting to contact any relatives of the soldiers or museums.  What i learned so far; letters like this, might be compelling for the Imperial War Museum in London as they do look for letters.  The ones that mention the camps if more detailed. Could be of interest to the National War Museum in Amsterdam or also known as the NIOD. Or Yad Vashem in Israel. 

Well i hope this post is interesting to someone, as i said a good way to remember my grandparents and everyone else involved!
