Review of Minerva Rd Fish and Chips
People may not know this or particularly care but 10 years ago Ash and I actually moved to Geelong for a coastal change. However it was peak recession time (which for Geelong can be disputed as all the industry closing currently) but due to the lack of work came back to Melbourne.
We stayed in Heren Hill and found a local fish and chip shop which made everything from scratch on Minerva Rd.
Glad to announce 10 years later and they have not changed and the Fish and Chips are still the best we've had.
So if you're after the best fish and chips, you won't find them in Melbourne. You definitely need to head to Geelong and they're cheap! All this food for $20.

I have my favourite fish & chip shop too. I didnt know people were still that fussy about their fish & chips, when I was a kid every shop was ranked by us kids. I often find that in NSW the best fish & chips are from refugees from Northern England.
