Review of BoB Bob's Bakery
Today we ventured to BonBons Bakery in Keilor downs shopping centre for a steak and mushroom pie that won 1st place.
BonBons Bakery also sell a variety of pastries and breads but for this trip it was all about the meat pie.
We have to say we were quite impressed with the thin crispy crust which ment more room for filling. The gravy was a nice thick consistency, not the type you bite into and it drips all over your top. The heat of the pie was perfect to bite straight into and it was pretty fresh. Guess we made it at the right time!
I washed it down with my beloved medium cap with 2 sugars in a take away cup (find it to have the best ratio of milk to coffee) and it was definitely a smooth aromatic blend.
Thoroughly enjoyed the humble meat pie and it came in very affordable. 2 pies and 2 coffees cost $15.00, I think they have a franchise located at Airport West and Sunshine so they are expanding their business be sure to check em out :)
