Rainy new year

The low pressure is prevalent as usual at this time of year. We certainly need the rain and so it looks like another wet new-year's eve. I personally love it as it tends to kill the zeal for the pesky fireworks which, besides being a ridiculous spectacle, is a total waste of money. They also send many innocent creatures into a frenzy and often causes serious accidents as well. New Year can be celebrated so much more effectively without the 'Bang!' and, once those who know no better have learnt this, mankind will have taken just possibly another little, or big, step forward. And, if anyone reading this has any criticism for the sentiment, I adjure them to sit on a thunderflash tonight and to then sing the same song tomorrow.
