How Can I Fix My Webcam? FN + F8
Google or Duck Duck Go for a switch for your laptop to find a way to turn on the internal integrated cameras on laptops. For my Lenovo Yoga 510-15ISK, I reactivated my cam via FN + F8 or camera icon key.
I bought this Yoga laptop back in August 2016, last year, at a computer store in Saigon, Vietnam, back when I was 31 years old, as an Oregonian living in VN, & I used the cam with Windows & that was good.
But I was not able to use my cam on my Linux Ubuntu Mate operating system (OS) since I put that on back in like September 2016 and I was unable to turn on the webcam for the past year until today.

Did you get it fixed or are you looking for help? I thought you were trying to share an anti-spying tip (I use black tape, lol). I felt so good when Comey said that, because I had LONG blacked out my cams. Even the face cam on my cellphones. Fark that noise.
Yes. FN + F8 turned on my built-in laptop webcam & it works on Ubuntu in Cheese & Facebook.
oh cool! I've been thinking about jumping ship to Ubuntu, but I'm never sure if everything will function.
