A Good Science Radio Show on Hermetic Principles

Finding interesting science based content is always a challenge. As a scientist with an advanced degree, most of what is written for mass consumption is fairly simplistic. If it gets into much depth, it tends to use bad analogy to things that people already commonly understand, which distorts the picture at any level of depth.

To get new material, I find I like to go back to science written before WWII - the event that change the perspective of the United States role in the world. The education that i received in the 1960-1980 decades seems to be based on a different value system that the one that i intuitively comprehend.

The attached video is the first hour of a discussion on color by crrow777. With the current system collapsing, the video stream on you-tube is drying up. This is worth listening to. The beginning goes through hermetic principles - and gives a concise summary of seven common observations that most people do not ever hear.

1. All is Mind : this tells us that what we think is the only basis that we have for all that is. If our mind ceases to operate, it all goes away.

2. Correspondence : as above, so below. Everything has a meaning onthe surface that belies a deeper meaning in an associated realm, on a different fractal.

Note - a fractal dimension is one that is a step away from the size and scale that things are observed upon. My thoughts on fractals as a function of scale are the subject of other articles.

1. Vibration : nothing is at rest. There is constant motion in everything and light is an amplification of the effects of smaller movement on larger scales.

2. Polarity : there is a duality of oppsites. The idea of only this or that is convenient and very basic, but the growth from one to two is the most important step of beginning a new system.

3. Rhythm : all things rise and fall in due time. This is a manifestation of the in breath and the out breath and the basis for Walter Rusell's idea on chemistry.

4. Cause and Effect: there is a result of every action and and action precedes the result. I wonder if time travel changes the effects of history by changing the causes of the actions? History is a story written by the victors, so it is a moot point.

5. Gender: there is a male and a female perspective in all things. English speakers do not define nouns with gender, as in romance languages. Thus we lose the concept, and today, our stress is related to that dysfunction.

The discussion on color that follows in this video is good enough to make me want to subscribe to the content. I wonder iff there is a chance that the crrow website would take STEEM as payment?
