the legend of guava

a long long time ago theres a king who owned and ruled a n island, he had anything a king could ever had. the king name was king barabas.. king barabas is rude and over weight. he spent most of his time eating and sitting 

people in the kingdom would approached request for his help but the king always refuse, as he reigned the kingdom people started to complain and starve..

a time has past an old woman showed up at the castle begging for food. while the king was eating that time, the old lady asked for food beacause she was starving, 

'go away! i dont have anything give to you! cant u see im eating!-said the king

please!! king; said the woman im asking for anything you could give me beacause i am so hungry, even a likttle piece of bread would you.?

'get out ! you disgust me!! - the king said to the old woman.

'get out ! you disgust me!! - the king said to the old woman.tnd your kingdom is suffering, the voice of the old woman has changed it has no longer a old woman voice.. i asked for help, but i only asked for a bilittled me! you are selfish; no one will love you and will remember u when youre gone,.

- and the old woman was disappeard-

after a few day the king was slowly weakend and has a sick nobody knows whats wrong with the king. he weaker and loss a much of weight and become so skinny. after a day the king died as unexpected as it was, noboy showed up at the kings burial and nobody cry. he died alone.

where the king was burried his people notice a plant growing. a kind of plant that they had never seen before. and soon the plant grow into a tree. and the tree bore rounded shape and turns yellow when ripe..

the people in the island noticed that the friut have a crown, which reminded them of thier selfish king . they eat the friut and the flesh tasted a bit sour like the personality og thier lost king..

people learned to eat the fruit which helped them to cope starvation, beacause the tree was grown in the grave of thier king they named the tree after king barabas  and soon they called it bayabas.

the fruit was still called bayabas(guava) as to this day..

-guava offers many health benefits when consumed, guava leaves are made into tea that can treat wounds, diarrhea, low blood and a lot more.
