Just hold and you will get your gold. I still use standard BTC. The only issue is because your BTC is on the Nano it wont be safe to send out your BTC gold until the new chain is stable. This happened with BCC and it took about 10 days. So people who left their btc on exchanges that supported BCC were able to get better prices if they were selling right away. Its a gamble to do that but one that happened to pay off for BCC.
