Living Cost Scholarships for MAN & MAS Graduates to Study Abroad from the Ministry of Religion
The increasing interest of students from Indonesia to continue their studies of higher education abroad has made the government increasingly offer assistance to support this. One program from the Indonesian government in terms of helping Indonesian students to be able to study abroad is through scholarships that are certain their choices can be tailored to their individual needs.
Scholarship Details
The Ministry of Religion through the Directorate of Madrasah Education provides assistance for living cost scholarships specifically for graduates of MAN or MAS who intend to study abroad. The location of the lecture has no limits which means it can be in America, Europe or remain in Asia. Because this scholarship is a living cost scholarship, it is very fitting to combine it with a full tuition scholarship from the intended university. So in the end studying abroad can still be free.
This scholarship is not limited by the amount of fees that will be borne by the employer because it can be adjusted to the standard of living costs at the location of the study. The funding covered by this scholarship program includes:
• Visa
• Health Insurance
• Cost of living
• Transportation costs depart and go home once
This scholarship is provided to recipients during
4 years of study period. So if it turns out that in 4 years they have not been able to complete their studies, they must prepare their own expenses. It is highly recommended when applying for this scholarship that you have a Letter of Acceptance at a university or tertiary institution complete with financial assistance for tuition fees.
Scholarship Requirements
The scholarship selection process at the beginning uses criteria requirements which are divided into General Requirements and Special Requirements, all of which must be fulfilled.
• General requirements
o Indonesian citizens
o MAN or MAS graduates accredited a maximum of 2 years before the time of submission of scholarships
o Submitting a body certificate and being free from drugs
o Choose accredited overseas study programs and colleges
o Fall if it turns out to fake data
o Able to complete undergraduate study for 4 years
o If it exceeds 4 years, the next financing will be borne alone
o Priority for high achieving students

o Signing the statement letter containing:

complete study
ƒ Able to serve to improve the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia
ƒ Not involved in activities that are
breaking the law
ƒ Not involved in activities that violate the academic code of ethics
ƒ Not receiving a scholarship

• Special Requirements
o Have completed studies for a maximum of 2 years before the scholarship registration which is indicated by a diploma or an overall report card in the MA that has been legalized
o Graduation Certificate for newly graduated or official cover letters from the original school for previous year graduates
o Already have an Unconditional or Conditional Letter of Acceptance from the tertiary institution intended for the next academic year
o Have a SPP free guarantee letter from the college or university that is intended
o Submit a letter of good behavior or
Police certificate

After registration and documents are sent to eat, document selection will be done first. Then applicants who pass the document selection will be asked to take part in the interview selection.
