Champion Feature: Aatrox - The Darkin Blade

Well, Hello There Valiants!

This is my first champion feature in my entire steemit experience. I want to show you a champion that lacked love in the previous patches but recently got his rework. Without further ado, let's hop right into it.

Aatrox is a melee bruiser. His kit from the previous patches and current patch made him bruiser. Well, he was changed from an auto attack dependent champion to a high skill cap champion, which cool for me as a top laner.

Lore

His lore was changed into a tragic and devastating story.

Aatrox was once brought under the Sun Disc to be ascended. Yes, ascended. He was a noble warrior of Shurima and was so powerful that even the god-warriors were afraid to oppose him.

And Setaka, the ascended warrior-queen, asked for his help to fight for Icathia. As a noble warrior, it is an honor for him and without hesitation accepted the request along with his warriors. It was a fight against the Void that overwhelmed their Icathian-masters.

As expected, they grabbed the victory. But something was uneasy. I think they were infected or some sort like that by the Void. It wasn't said in his lore but they left the story with them being changed, even Aatrox. That was my intuition. So with that in them, Aatrox and the Sunborn started a war among themselves. Mortals ran from the war and remembered them as evil entities, the Darkins.

Fearing the Darkins, they asked for help. Aspect of Twilight, or bluntly saying Zoe, gave them the resources and knowledge to trap all of them. What could hold strong and devastating monsters? Their weapons.

The Aspect of War, Pantheon, also helped to capture them. Their weapons are built as prison. It sucked them with a powerful force as, I think, 10 black holes. They are trapped inside making them feel suffocated in eternal darkness and immortal, meaning they can't die in the prison.

One day, a person tried to wield him. As the person grabs his sword, Aatrox also accessed his wielder's consciousness draining the wielder's life form and at some point, consumed by him. Many people tried to wield him and also consumed by him to create a vessel that could wield him. And time passed, he learned to control his host. But he thought his bodies were mockery of his former glory.

He tried all ways to get out of that prison, but he came into a conclusion. He'll never get out of there. He made a decision because of that. If he can't get out or break the blade, he'll accept the oblivion.

So Aatrox, the Darkin Blade, brought death and war everywhere to end the world. Maybe if he could end the world, both the blade or him will seize to exist.

Abilities

Don't be mistaken guys! This isn't a Riven v2.0. Just kiddin'. Haha! 😂

Passive: Deathbringer Stance
Aatrox's next basic attack will have increased range and deal a percentage of the opponents max health as damage.
Also, Deathbringer Stance reduces shielding and healing in a short time.

Q: The Darkin Blade
Aatrox swings his blade knocking up enemies at the red spot of each cast and significantly increases damage in every cast.

W: Infernal Chains
Aatrox smashes the ground creating a wave. The enemy champion or large monster it hits first will be slowed. If the enemy champion stayed inside the impact area, he/she will be pulled back in the middle.

E: Umbral Dash
Active: Aatrox dashes, increasing his attack damage for a few seconds. Can be used with The Darkin Blade.
Passive: Aatrox heal a portion of the damage he dealt.

R: World Ender
Aatrox becomes monstrous in size and flies with his large wings when activated. As he transforms, he can briefly increase his movement speed by reactivating the ability out of combat.
While transformed, Aatrox increases overall damage and gains Blood Well over time. If Aatrox died while on World Ender, he will revive again consuming the Blood Well into health from his true form to his normal form.
