The 2019 Mid-Season Invitational is already stacked with great and strong organisations like the Legendary and 3 times World Champion SKT T1. But they are not the only one coming in as favourites. Also G2 Esports, better known as the "Kings of Europe" domitated there Region and are looking very strong. But before we take a closer look at the Teams lets bring down some facts about the Event itself.

Price Pool: 1.000.000 $
Location: Vietnam, Taiwan
2 Stages: -Play-in (lower tier regions) - 3 teams advance
- Main Event - (China, Europe, Korea)
Start: 01.05.2019

The MSI was always the first indicator of a new rosters international potential. Coming into the Spring Split 2019 many Teams changed up there line-ups and the possibility to participate at the Mid-Season Invitation has proven their success. Without further ado, lets take a closer look at the favourite Teams coming into this Event.

"They are back!". This was my first thought hearing that SK Telecom T1 has managed to take down Griffin. This Split Griffin dominated the LCK and everyone accepted there domination, but not SKT T1. In a clean 3:0 sweep they took down Griffin at the LCK Playoff finals. With there new main Roster amongst star adc Teddy, they managed to built a roster around ("the god himself") Faker to compete at the highest level of League of Legends. Even though Korea had a poor international presence at the world championship last year, i still think they will be strong this year.

Europe as a region as gained a lot of reputation due to last years run to the Worlds Finals by Fnatic. Even though Fnatic had a rough Split (ended up 3rd in the LEC) G2 Esports looked stronger than ever. At the LEC Finals it seemed like they dont even have to try to take down the second best Team in Europe (Origen). They impressed me by there pure domination in every role and there creativity playing the games with different compositions. I think the combination of these two characteristics will get them far in this years international tournaments.

What do you think? Im looking forward to hear some of your oppinions. What about lower tier Regions? Are there maybe some surprises? What about China? Will IG be able to hold their title of worlds number 1 Team? Or will they not even qualify for MSI?
