White Mulberry (Morus Alba)
The white mulberry, scientifically known as morus alba, is a fast-growing small to medium-sized mulberry tree 10 to 20 m tall.
Also called common mulberry, or silkworm mulberry, its leaves are highly favored by silkworms and are used as fodder for cattle (cows, goats, etc.).
In strong young shoots, the lobes are deep and complex, and the leaves are up to 30 cm long.
The leaves of older trees are lobeless, heart-shaped at the base, serrated at the margin, and 5-15 cm long.
