Fragrant Eupatorium (Eupatorium Japonicum)

The fragrant eupatorium, whose botanical name is eupatorium japonicum, is a species of herbaceous plant in the Asteraceae family.

It is a herbaceous perennial that grows 50-200 cm tall from short rhizomes with many fibrous roots.

The leaves on the stem are arranged opposite and have short but fairly thick petioles.

These leaves taper gradually to a sharp point with elliptic, narrowly elliptic, ovate, or lance-shaped.
