Brazilian Orchid Tree (Bauhinia Forficata)
The Brazilian orchid tree with the scientific name bauhinia is a deciduous to semi-evergreen tree that reaches a height of 25 to 30 feet.
The branches are very interesting as they stand up and hang down at the ends. The stems are often leaning and the two-leafed leaves are dark green and large.
