Leadership is critical to the future of our society and our nation. According to John Maxwell, “Everything rises and falls on leadership.” Indeed, it is timely to have good leaders rising up in our land to exert influence for the society at large.

Personally, I am passionate to be involved in leadership training. As I am heading to Penang to teach at a leadership seminar, I am excited although I am yet to meet the participants. I hope everyone of us, both the teachers and the participants will get better through the seminar. Indeed, I am happy to see participants getting equipped, and teaching leadership is also a learning experience for me. In other words, a good leadership seminar benefits both the participants and teachers to be better leaders.

As leadership is about influence, it is not about a person to be promoted to assume higher or any leadership position. Instead, it is about having positive influence whenever and wherever one may be. Therefore, the objective of leadership is not so much about the leader per se but about the people who are to be positively influenced.

领导关系到我们的社会和国家未来。根据约翰·马克斯韦尔的观点，“每件事的兴衰都取决于领导!” 的确我们逼切的需要有优秀领导者对我们厂大的社体產生正面的影响。

就个人而言，我热衷参与领导力培训。这一趟我帶着兴奋的心情前往槟城参加领导研讨会，虽然我还没有见到参与者。我希望通过研讨会我们每个人，包括导师和参与者都会獲益良多，事实上，我期望参与者能够得到装备，而对于导师，这也是我的一种学习。换句话说，良好的领导力研讨会是有利于参与者和导师以便大家都能提升为更好的领导者。

由于领导力与影响力有关，因此研讨会的目的不是要提升参加者承担更高的领导地位。事实它是为了建立参加者能随时随地产生更有果效的影响。所以提升领导力不是为了提高领导地位，而是要让更多人獲得积极影响。
