Discipline is the ability to control yourself or other people even in difficult situations.

It could also be an action or inaction that is regulated to be in accordance with a system of governance.

1. SPEECH: Yesterday people didn't care about what you said, but once you become a leader, you must control yourself while making your speech because people may tend to take you serious even when you are joking.

• Your speech shouldn't be full of insult or with insult at all.

• You should be polite enough when requesting people to help you out with something, don't command anyhow.

• You should choose your words, talk in a manner you would want somebody else to talk to you.

• You should be a person of your words, you should be disciplined enough not to tell lies.

• You shouldn't talk anyhow about something you know in discussions unless you were asked, you should know when to talk and when to be calm.

1. CONDUCT [Action]: As a leader, you should be able to know how to carry yourself, know whom to associate with. That doesn't mean you need to raise shoulders high, you need to be as humble as you can and allow your relevance speak for you.

1. LOVE: As a leader you must know how to show love to your followers, Love is expensive and most times you have to sacrifice a lot of things as a leader.

1. TRANSPARENCY : As a leader you must discipline yourself well enough to be transparent in all you do. Purity requires a lot of discipline. Always be honest when you handle money, make sure to have accurate details of every transactions you make.

2. TIME: Alot of people default in this, as a leader you need to discipline yourself to be able to keep to time. Don't fix meetings and be coming an hour later, that doesn't speak good of you, as a leader you have to be ahead of your followers. So when it comes to keeping time you should never be defaulting in it. If possible come an hour before.

3. PRIORITIES: As a leader you should know how to set your priorities right. Know the things that can be done at the moment and those that can wait. Make sure never to be running losses.

1. INFORMATION: As a leader, you would be privileged to have so many informations and details about your followers, you should be disciplined enough to keep whatever personal information you have about someone to yourself and not spreading it amongst others.

Be a leader that is trustworthy and reliable,don't allow your followers to be scared of some informations getting to you.

God has given you wisdom, so be discrete in discharging your duties as a leader.

You must not use the same approach for everyone because of individual differences. Know your followers strengths and weaknesses as this would help you lead them better.
