A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. (John C. Maxwell)
The world is packed with people who know everything and they are able to solve all the problems of the world, at least while sitting in the sauna and speaking about it. But, very few people are actually willing to stand up and actually do something. Why is that? We have a big mouth, but we are not willing to actually act in order to see change.
But, I guess there is a lot of wisdom in what John Maxwell said in his quote.
A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way. (John C. Maxwell)
Are you just someone with a big mouth, or are you an actual leader who is willing to stand up and walk the way and pave the way for others to follow? If you just speak, then you are a person with a big mouth, nothing else.
When Jesus called his followers, he didn't just tell them to walk around and spread his word... he walked with them, he showed them the way, and he told them to follow him.
Are you just handing out instructions or are you actually giving an example that people should follow? Are you showing the way and walking the way?
