Dare to be different

To be different means to separate yourself from the crowd. To follow the crowd is to remain uncelebrated , unnoticed. Les Brown in one of his speeches says that there are some people who come through the universe and their level of contribution and level of energy they manifest is so small, so inconspicous ,that when they do you won't know they left. There are some people because they dare to be different in their personality, because they dare to be different in their contribution, because they dare to be different in the investment of their time and energy and the impact they have their, that when they go everybody will miss them. So when Martin Luther King Jnr checks out everybody will know, when Nelson Mandela checks out every body will now. Why because they dare to be different in everything.

They step out from the masses into their spotlight of individuality. They do not go to where the path lead instead they go where there is no path and leave a trail.
Those who follow the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. Those who walk alone are likely to find themselves in places no one has ever been before. --- Albert Einstein . Stand out and be counted. Be yourself. Be Original. To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment. A great man once says an Original is worth more than a copy. The bible backs up you Originality. Your being dare to be different by saying do not conform to the pattern of this world. In other words do not copy the behaviour and custom of this world, but let God transform you into a new by changing the way you think.
The minute you stop caring about what other people think, is the minute you start being yourself. Another great man once said, i don't know the key to success, but i know the key to failure is to start pleasing everybody. To avoid criticism in life, do nothing, say nothing, be nothing --Elbert Hubbard.
You can't be the influence the world by trying to be like it. Be the change you wish to see in the world. Be a voice, not an echo. Aspire to inspire before you expire. Champion to be yourself. Dare to be different . Live your life and follow your star.

Jack Kerouguac describes people who dare to be different as crazy ones, the misfit, the rebels, the trouble makers, the round heads in the square holes, the ones who see differently, they are not fond of rules and they have no respect for the statue quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or verify them. The only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push humans race forward and while some may see them as the crazy ones we see genius, because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do because they are the only people for me who are mad, the ones who are mad to live. Mad to talk. Mad to be saved, desirous of everything at the same time. The ones who never say or yawn the common place, but burn, burn like spiders, across the stars and in the middle. You can see the blue center light pop and everything goes Awww!
