RE: Steemit Teachings: Allowing the Flow

ah so much goodness here. i really appreciate your honest reflections. steemit has also enlivened me to reflect upon my finances, the energy around them, my beliefs/goals/dreams... and i too have made the decision to be wealthier in 2018! to allow money to come in ;) ... i also grew up in the church (eek! yuck! lol!) and spent my life growing up in indianapolis... funny world how steemit brings so many of us together with similar stories... law of attraction in deed. happy for you <3

Thank you! I'm ready to let it in for real! It's funny I find so many ex church kindred spirits. I've made a lot of peace with it for the most part. I can sing the old songs that I love and appreciate what it gave me and leave the rest behind for the most part. His Eye is on the Sparrow is still one of my favorite songs. That said, I went to a funeral in the baptist church I grew up in a few years ago, and it was somewhere between surreal and traumatizing. So, so weird. Such a bizarre culture.
That's super crazy you grew up in Indy. I moved there when I was 13 from South Carolina and lived downtown. I went to Shortridge Junior High and Tech. Then I lost my mind and went to DePauw for 4 years. Then I finally came to my senses and left Indiana forever. Still have a lot of friends there, though.
