snowball (lava)

This is a picture of a lave snowball. This feature is created when a small piece of cooled lava rolls down a flowing lava stream. This lava snow ball is located at the Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Which is located in the Deschutes National Forest, south of Bend Oregon.
