Community Benefits
EOSMX is dedicated to growing the EOS community in Mexico. In to this end, we have defined the following five community benefits initiatives:
1) Community Organization: We will be hosting our first EOS Meetup in Mexico City on Wednesday, May 16th. Our first Meetup will serve to bring the EOS community together, introduce EOSMX´s role in the community and provide a technical seminar on the benefits of developing Dapps on EOS. We will also take a survey to better understand what the Mexican EOS community believes would most bring value to its members. The results will be published as well as help guide EOSMX in our role as a EOS block producer.
2) Public Sector Awareness: With the support of our advisors, we will reach out to Coordinación de Estrategia Digital Nacional (CEDN) or translated to English, The National Digital Strategy Coordination. The organization is being led by Yolanda Martínez Mancilla. We will also enter into contact with the Consejo Consultivo Blockchain or, in English, the Blockchain Advisory Committee. 3) Community Funding - Give-back: If chosen as a EOS Block Producer, EOSMX will give back a 10% percentage of our profits every year to support as well as run EOS Dapp development courses for aspiring engineers in Mexico and greater Latin America. Our goal is to standardize Spanish-speaking courses with the help of learning platforms and provide the Spanish speaking community worldwide with EOS-related development materials.
4) Community Recruitment: If chosen as a EOS Block Producer, EOSMX is going to set up a recruitment process in LATAM focus on find all the people who wants to know more about the technology. In different tech companies, there are a lot of developers in the companies, want to know more about these technologies but the day a day don´t allow them. We are going to align the community collaboration with their job. Example: The companies that support EOSMX initiative, will be part of the solution/products that EOSMX develop.
5) EOS Gurú: If chosen as a EOS Block Producer, we are going to position the top 15 influencer in LATAM market, including developers from Reddit and Telegram. To select the top 15 influencer developers, we will be monitoring the activity on the social networks. Will schedule one annual EOS conference in the most prominent LATAM countries.
6) EOS Regulation: Starting in México, we will leader with two other entities the cryptocurrency regulation process. We will start in the third week of June with a meeting with Yolanda Martinez Mancilla.
