Just returned home from the Third Age - LARP based on "Lord of the Rings". I can't give a full repot in a single post, but if I had only two words to say, it would be "muddy muds"

It was beautiful sometimes, like this:

Orks in a muddy muds

as well as elves

and nazghuls

even Sauron

poor hobbits... the muddy muds are to deep for a halfling!

Trolls saying: "Let us in. Its to MUUUUUUDY here!"

And elven maidens answers: "This is OUR sacred (muddy) land. You shall not pass!".

No place to retreat

But elves are smiling even in a mud...

Clever ork defending little patch of (wet) grass

Dark archer calls: "Let's go thru the mud!"

But no one wants to...
