It’s fun, when compare between languages I have these examples on my list:

'anta' (Arabic) and 'anata' (Japanese) mean 'you'

'Taa'ir' (Arabic) and 'tori' (Japanese) mean 'bird'

'kataba' (Arabic) means 'he wrote' and 'kotoba' in Japanese means 'word.'

'saaqi' (Arabic) means 'bartender' and 'sake' is a Japanese alcoholic drink.

'shi'r' (Arabic) mean 'poetry and 'shi' (Japanese)

‘Miinaa’ (Arabic) and ‘minato’ (Japanese) mean ‘harbour.’

'sama' ( Arabic means 'towered' or 'went high' (verb) and 'sama' in Japanese is an honorific suffix used to address people with high positions.

IN SCIENCE AND MATH:

ALCHEMY and CHEMISTRY (الكيميـــــــــاء.)

ALCOHOL (الكُحُـــــــــول.)

ALGEBRA (الجبــر: More on the eponymous founder of Algebra as an independent mathematical discipline here.)

ALGORITHM (خوارزم: More on the eponymous founder of algorthimics here.)

ALKALINE (القلوي: Meaning “non-acid, basic.”)

ALMANAC (المنــــــاخ: Literally meaning “climate”)
