How do you learn spoken?

I want to tell you a history about learning speaking of my mothertung. I am Bangladeshi. when l was very young like one and half years old boy and trying to speak. But I did not speak clearly for long time. So my parents were very anxious for my speaking and they made a decision for me. They had gone to market and brought a vocabulary and gramer book and I memorized vocabulary and grammatical rules and I learnt how to speak. It's veiy easy to learn to speak a new language. If you think, I am lying or worng. Please tell me what is the right way to speak in a language and really if you have a way then move on to learn a language which is using over the world.
