Want to learn Spanish or French? (WTF Spanish and WTF French week 1 starts tomorrow)

So there were no requests for German and Italian yet. Those may be next. For now we are going to be starting study groups for both Spanish and French. Come join if you can devote 2-3 hours of study every week.

The point of the WTF language learning initiative is to encourage good self study habits and make our goals more easily accessible by creating a cooperative environment with a common goal. I've studied and taught languages for 10 years, I can tell you that the people who really learn are the ones with the right attitude and study methods, the teacher can only help them find their own passion for the language and provide the right environment.

3 Introduce yourself on the chat and make a comment on this post (a resteem would be greatly appreciated)

We will move a bit slow to make sure it isn't overwhelming. Each week has 2 tasks

1 Study 1 topic in duolingo, we will work on the same topics at the same time, new classmates will have to catch up.
2 Make 15+ sentences in our language practice chat using words from the weeks topics/grammar and words you check on your own to express what you want (stick to the grammar of the week!)
3 (optional) check the sentences of others and feel free to chat in the language using text or voice!
