Punctuation marks
Point
The point indicates the pause that occurs at the end of a statement. Except in the case that it appears in an abbreviation, after a period it will be capitalized.
Comma
Through the comma a short pause is marked within a sentence. Comma is used to separate components of the sentence or syntagma, phrases of the sentence or sentences within higher units. It is also used to enclose clauses or clarifications and to indicate omissions, especially in the case of verbal forms: If you come, we wait for you; If not (you come), we leave.
The two points
They are used before a textual quote, says the saying: "Better late than never", and before an enunciation: The seasons are four: spring, summer, autumn and winter After the courtesy formulas that lead the letters and documents.
Semicolon
The semicolon represents an intermediate pause lower than that of the point and higher than that of the as. It is used to separate the elements of an enumeration when it comes to complex expressions that include commas: His hair is brown; the green eyes; the nose, upturned
Suspensives points
The orthographic sign of the ellipsis is formed by three points in line with no space between them. With them expresses the interruption of the sentence or an imprecise end.
At the end of the open enumerations, with the same value as the word and so on. The languages derived from Latin, such as Spanish, Catalan, French ...
The question marks
Question marks are used to mark the beginning and end of a question formulated in direct style. What do you say? The signs of admiration are used in statements that express an intense feeling or emotion. What a failure!
After the signs indicating the end of a question mark or an exclamation point (?!) No point is written.
