At least 15 dead, 118 missing in massive landslide in Sichuan's Maoxin
My fellow Steemians, I would like to draw you attentions to a tragedy in China, Shchuar Maoxin.
A massive landslide happened at 6am which must of the people there were still sleeping. Many were buried alived.
At least 15 dead and 118 missing, while the rescure is still in full speed, let's pray for the unfortunate people!

I also see this news on the TV yesterday night. It is just terrible. You cannot even prevent it, as there are no earthquick at all. There are at least kind of earthquick warning established for people to have a signal and prepare on it. But this time, it just simply raining and made this disaster. I think no one can do any preparation.
Read about this earlier and it's pretty insane. Looks like the body count has increased. Perhaps start a fundraising campaign here?
Do you know anyone in that area and what have they said about the need for assistance or donations?
Fortunately, I don't have any friends or relatives ovet there, But it is still heartbroken to see your fellow countrymen suffer from natural disasters.

Human is too weak in front of the nature....
My prayer to Sichuan people. Wish the local gov can review their environmental development policies toward area like this to prevent any similar event. Life matters. And may thrm rest in peace.
