My Photography Journey

Hi my name is Cory and i am a freelance creative photographer from Australia, i am a single father of 2 amazing kids and i have been doing photography for over 10yrs now..

I like to be creative and shoot images that evoke emotions within others when they look at them and i want to share my images and the way i shot them with all of you out there, i will post my images up with the stories behind them and what inspired me to take that image and will also provide anyone that would like tips and ideas on how to take these types of images.

My goal is to help others learn and be able to see things the way i do and to go out a be able to capture amazing things with there cameras.

This image was taken on a beautiful summer afternoon down at Merewether beach, the sun was setting and there was some great cloud cover and the surf was big and waves where coming all the way over the bathes and creating this cool waterfall effect in the kids pool, so i grabbed my gear out of the car and raced down to set up and get a good position....

I got very wet where i first set up, so had to move to a better position and took many shots trying to get the best shot,
i used a shutter speed of 3 hundredths of a second to create the water flowing look and an iso 100.
