The weather is definitely an issue. I grew up in a rainy area and still Wales took me by surprise! My youngest turned two while we were there and one day, she saw the golden glow in the sky and asked: "What's that?" That's when I realized just how cloudy and rainy it was there! But when the clouds clear, it is really glorious.
