Playa Colmenares

Planning is one of the most important parts of photography, and it is not advisable to underestimate this area. After arrival and accommodation with friends in the evening we drank a little. So I did not have a place for a morning shoot. I woke up about two hours before dawn, looked into the map and found a place called Playa Colmenares. It was about 2km from where we lived. I chose the shortest way through the desert, which was not a good solution at all. Everywhere sharp rocks, cacti pricking and especially black darkness. After a few hundred meters I gave up this trip and went to the road that was marked on the map and hoped it would be there. The road was the place where it was supposed to be and so the rest of the planned trip went to the beach. Just peaked outflow and so the beach is wider than at high tide and receding water revealed round stones.

Plánování je jednou z nejdůležitějších součástí fotografie a není radno tuto oblast podcenit. Po příletu a ubytování se u přátel jsme večer trochu popily. A tak jsem neměl připraveno místo na ranní focení. Probudil jsem se asi dvě hodiny před svítáním, podíval jsem se do mapy a našel místo, které se jmenovalo Playa Colmenares. Bylo asi 2km od místa kde jsme bydleli. Zvolil jsem nejkratší cestu přes poušť, což nebylo vůbec dobré řešení. Všude ostré kameny, píchající kaktusy a hlavně černá tma. Po pár stovkách metrů jsem tuto cestu vzdal a vydal se k cestě, která byla značena v mapě a doufal, že tam bude. Cesta byla místě kde měla být a tak jsem zbytek plánované cesty došel v poklidu na pláž. Akorát vrcholil odliv a tak byla pláž širší než bývá při přílivu a také ustupující voda odhalila kulaté kameny.
