I would partly agree :)
It is quite funny that when I have been there first time I didn't like it but I have still returned there and were much more satisfied.
So yes Seychelles are really touristic, but still other seaside places I know can be even more crowded. First time I was there I visited Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. Mahe I like so-so, Praslin was great, La Digue I didn't like so much.
When I am going to the seaside I expect to swim and on La Digue is very hard to do that. Water is just to shallow or on the other side too rough.
On Mahe I spend just two days and was a bit unluckey with apartment (scam) so that might spoil my experiance there. Otherwise nice beach in Beau Vallon.
On Praslin there is the most amazing beach I have ever seen, Anse Lazio and also Anse Georgette is not far behind. So these two beaches are really amazing, others I didn't like so much.
So overall it is a place to visit. I would go again, but only on Praslin and maybe do some day trips to other islands.
Thing I am missing the most are walkways. There is nowhere to walk in the evening. Such a shame. After dinner I would love to go for an hour walk, drink a beer in a pub by the see, but they simply don't know that. And locals are not really friendly but very much money oriented.
Plus is definitely climate with nice sea temperature and snorkling is simply stunning there.
I see that I will have to write a travel story about my trip to Seychelles :)
Hope I helped a bit...

Ok thank you for your detailled answer. Looks like it depends where you are going there. Like anywhere else in the world. I heard of so many people complaining about the Gili islands in Lombok because they are so touristic and dirty, but they have only been o the main beach on Gili T..
I guess if you avoid the crowds and look for a calm spot, you can find a beautiful place (almost) anywhere :)
