One of my favorite road trips is the Highway 1 drive which takes you to the beautiful and wild Big Sur of the California coast. In a road trip through the California coast you can enjoy the salty fresh air and enjoy breathtaking views of craggy cliffs while hearing the crashing of the waves. There are also tons of trails for the avid hiker! I took this photograph one foggy morning, and I love the mysterious feel it gave the coast. If I have the chance, I want to roadtrip further on Highway 1 perhaps from San Diego, California to Seattle, Washington! I will be writing a full post soon dedicated to spending a day in this amazing place and the scenic drive.

Stunning seascape. The movement of the waves crashing over the rough rocks is well caught in this photo. One can almost hear it.
